All successful submissions will be published in the journal “High Altitude Medicine and Biology”

​​The highest scoring authors will get the opportunity to orally present their work at the congress in a main plenary session as well as submit a digital poster that will be shared on the XIV World Congress on Mountain Medicine mobile app.

All submissions will be reviewed by the scientific committee and shortlisted

We welcome abstracts on all aspects of mountain medicine including, but not limited to, the following topics:

• Physiology

• Rescue

• Public Health

• Environmental science​

Abstracts should be no more than 250 words and split into the following sections:

Introduction, Methods, Results and Conclusion

Submissions will be reviewed and judged based on the following criteria:

• Relevance & Scope

• Originality & Innovation

• Scientific Rigor / Methodological Quality

• Results & Data Quality

• Conclusions & Impact

Successful authors will be notified w/c 6th April
