Open House Cafe
Step out from the Congress and share a coffee with colleagues and friends in one of the most beautiful cafes in the Peak District!
In just a few years Hathersage’s Open House has gained an impressive reputation for providing space for creative community events – think meditation, yoga and music making.

MOUNTAINS AS MEDICINE FILM SCREENING

During the congress we’ll be hosting “Mountains As Medicine”, a collaboration with the Sheffield Adventure Film Festival (SHAFF) who have curated a series of films that highlight how the outdoor environment can be harnessed to help recovery from a range of physical and psychological problems.
Check out The Parkinson's Project, a one of last year's shortlisted films.

Mountain Voices
Do you have something that you’d like to share with a mountain medicine audience? If so, this is for you. Sign up for a 15 minute session and talk about whatever’s on your mind. It could be your latest research, a lesson learnt from a challenging day in the hills or just a piece of advice that you’d just like to share. Whatever it is, there will be an enthusiastic audience who’d like to hear from you. But make sure you save enough time for questions!”
