Dr. J. Manuel Funk is an emergency physician and has been an active member of the Mountain Rescue Team of Bariloche, Argentina, since 2013. He serves as a member of both the UIAA Medical Commission and the ICAR Medical Commission. He is currently completing his residency in anesthesiology at the University Hospital of Regensburg in Bavaria, Germany.
