Kat Ganly
Dr Kat Ganly (FRCA, MRCEM, DipIMC, FRGS) is a doctor in Anaesthesia and Pre-Hospital Emergency Medicine. She has worked in the Mountains of Nepal and Morocco supporting expeditions and local communities. She was a doctor for the British Antarctic Survey for 2 years, overwintering on the remote Mountainous Isle of South Georgia.
Kat is faculty at Remote Area Risk International, the leading professional level modular medical and risk management training organisation in the UK. Kat is engaged in research via the Institute for Remote Area Risk and Medicine, with research into remote telecommunications being awarded first prize at the 2025 'The Wider World of Pre-Hospital Care' FPHC Conference.
