Sarah has a specialist interest in high altitude and polar medicine. She has provided medical support for various expeditions in remote locations, including Himalya of Nepal & India, Artic Norway, Siberia and the Pamirs. For the past number of years, she has traveled South, working as a medic in Antarctic.

Sarah is actively involved in remote and wilderness medical training as faculty on the UK Diploma in Mountain Medicine and through her company Faraway Medicine. 

When not away on adventure Sarah is based in North Wales, working as an Anaesthetist and Pre-hospital Emergency Medicine doctor.
